Individual Sessions
Services are currently limited to 1 to 1 individual sessions. Individual sessions are held virtually as Telehealth appointments through HIPAA compliant platforms that allow you receive services in any safe, convenient space of your choosing.
Due to the unpredictable Covid-19 pandemic, I am electing to withhold in person therapy sessions and can only offer Telehealth sessions at this moment. I will, however, be exploring a hybrid of offering both in person and Telehealth sessions in the near future. Any updates on in person session availabilities will be shared here as well as live across all active platforms.
Therapeutic Process
Insurance
The following are insurances that I currently accept in New York & New Jersey:

With In-Network coverage, insurances will subject you to your predetermined co-payment responsibility. It's advised that you familiarize yourself with what your co-payment and deductible (if any) responsibilities are prior to scheduling. ***
Out of Network Insurances (OON) - are accepted! You will need to have a card on file to pay the $150 per session fee and I will supply you with a monthly "Super-bill" receipt of services rendered that you can present with your insurance for reimbursement. The rate of reimbursement is predetermined by your insurance so I highly recommend reaching out to confirm OON benefits and reimbursement prior to scheduling.
Private Pay (Out of Pocket) - My rate for individual sessions is $150 per 53-58 minute session. I do offer limited sliding scale options, dependent on annual income and financial difficulties, to be discussed on an individual basis. Payments can be made via credit/debit; HSA/FSA cards are eligible as well.
Cancellation Policy
I require a standard 24-hour notice for appointment cancellations. Notices should be made primarily via our secure HIPAA compliant platform Spruce Health, phone call or email. No-shows and cancellations made under 24 hours of the scheduled appointment are subject to a $100 cancellation fee.
I allow one excused late cancellation without any fee in good faith to respect emergencies and last minute inconveniences. Although I am very flexible and fully aware that unpredictable things may happen, 24 hours notice for cancellations is a standard policy in the medical field and ample communication is a goal we can continue to strive for.
Note: Appointments that are rescheduled to an appointment later in the same week, are not subject to the cancellation fee of $100.

Therapeutic Process
- There is always a free 15-minute consultation to begin the process. The consultation is necessary step in reviewing your goals/needs, breakdown of logistics and scheduling, and answering any additional questions you may have.
- Next, you will have access to client portal where you can: review and sign consent/policy paperwork, and submit insurance or payment information.
- The consultation will end with the scheduling if the initial session! Sessions are 53-58 minutes long and can occur on a weekly or bi-weekly basis depending on need and availability. The initial 1-2 sessions will be used as further evaluation and gathering of information to best arrive at mutual goals for therapy.
